The first prize was awarded to three 10th graders from the Kaunas Sargenu Secondary School for their work “Wood and Energy”. The contribution illustrates the history of wood as a means for heating and food preparation in Lithuania from the time of smoke cottages to modern heating systems. The pupils were rewarded with a book on world wonders, notebooks and pens.
